Performance
Gaming
To test the for CM Storm Sirus gaming needs, I use this headset to play some of the popular games that supports the 5.1 audio feature, such as Battlefield 3 and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. During the game, the headset is able to provide a pretty realistic atmosphere of war, with a good bass, while maintaining the other sound details such as footsteps and gunfire.
With the true 5.1 surround sound feature and the default souncard which is quite capable, this headset is able to provide the sound source direction properly so we could easily know where the enemies are by listening to their footsteps and from where they are firing.
Movie
Aside from playing games, I also tried to use this headset to watch some movies in Full HD (High Definition) format. During the watch, again I was satisfied with the true 5.1 feature which is provided by the CM STORM SIRUS, especially with the staging capability provided by this headset.
Music
Next is the result of test for the use of music. As a gaming headset, CM Storm Sirus gaming headset is able to provide a better listening experience. Usually, the other true 5.1 headset had problems where not all speakers in the headphones work. However, the default soundcard in the sales package is able to simulate the stereo audio pretty great on this CM Storm Sirus.
Microphone
CM Storm Sirus has a microphone that can record our voices quite clear, but there are a some flaws in this headset. The volume of voices that were captured by the mic isn’t quite strong even if I set the Windows mic volume setting to maximum.

CM STORM Sirus is a true gaming headset 5.1 that can be used as an all-around headsets that are practically used for playing games, watching movies, or listening to songs. In addition, this gaming headset gives the user more flexibility to use any soundcard brands other than the default soundcard and also gives users the freedom to choose the ear-cup headset configuration that will be used.
